Prior to the grand durbar, football fun games were organized and Nyaansa were eventual winners with Kori as runners' up.

This year's durbar did not get enough patronage and can best be described as the lowest in recent years. However, the diaspora was well represented at this year's Feok Festival celebration.
The apathy shown by some chiefs towards the celebration of this legacy was a matter of utmost concern among patrons. Why the eve of the Feok Festival grand durbar in Sandema with the usual drumming, dancing and merry-making stopped was another issue that was discussed among patrons. And, why some chiefs decided to participate in person without an entourage was also raised, with some patrons prophesying a dying legacy.
The organization of this important event has always been somehow secretive as no communication on the activities is ever made to the public. There is also no publicity in the media and no sponsors for the biggest celebration in Upper East region and northern Ghana as a whole.
This makes it uninteresting and unpredictable for patrons to plan. Something drastic must be done to package this great celebration to match its worth.
Any suggestions on how to improve upon the organisation of the Feok Festival? Leave comments below.
