District Assembly Elections; What For Buluk?

As we head towards another election of assembly and unit committee members on 3rd March 2015, let's be mindful of the importance of this election and vote for people who can really represent our interests.
I'm sure you know that the district assembly is a development institution. So, the people we seek to elect as our representatives must have our interests at heart. We shouldn't just vote for people who only want to be called "honorable" without any thought of our collective progress. Let's also not vote for people who will not always be available to represent us.
It's about time Buluk electorate voted on issues and
not partisanship
Also, let's vote for people who will reach out to us to seek our opinion. Let's not vote for people who think they know it all. We have suffered this neglect for long, where elected representatives only do what pleases themselves.

Let's also remember not to vote for people who are only interested in collecting sitting allowances without presenting our development challenges to the appropriate quarters.

  1. I tell you solemnly, the people in the various communities are becoming wiser by the day and this time round, they can't afford to be led astray as it used to by incompetent,self-seeking and clueless individuals in society." ENOUGH is ENOUGH" is what they say if you get closer to them to establish a dialogue concerning their lives in their respective societies. WISE-UP my beloved people, don't waste the POWER that you have, make good use of it in the upcoming District Elections.

    1. I hope they can refuse the pittance and alcohol to always do the right thing. I hope they don't become like the Uwasi people of Southern Bulsa who swore fire and brimstone against alcohol from politicians but ended up receiving those same things with an applause.
